This exhibition design detail is important to me because it relates to a psychological study that found a correlation between upward movement and positive sentiment. I painted the walls and readied the space for Jon, the art technician, to help me mask and paint diagonal stripes. I arrived a week ahead of the opening, and got to work right away prepping the newly remodeled space. For that, I am unspeakably humbled and grateful. CAC shared their resources, space, talent, and time so that I could create and present my art. That’s why the support of organizations like Chinese Arts Centre is so valuable-it scales up my work and exhibition opportunities. ![]() Like most artists, the overlap between my practice and income is small, so increasing the amount of time I can be an artist is an ongoing process. I also visited Liverpool, and spent six days in London. I spent a week installing the show and learning more about the art scene in Manchester. Cheers to first responders, volunteers, and everyday workers-like those at JFK who, by simply turning up to work despite hamstrung transportation, allow people like me to come home. ![]() It contains a small fraction of collision belonging to the pipe where the clear gem is hidden, but is placed as if the path would split at that point, as it did in the E3 demo. The zone "g1_aZ" is a leftover zone (an interactive area of the game, with collision, objects and/or cameras) from that version. ![]() ![]() The scenery of the hard path is also directly connected to the main path, which is not the case for any other section where the camera instantly changes, and is also why a piece of it can be seen near the area with the bonus platform. The E3 demo did not have a yellow gem path, as the gem platform was not there, and the gem path was instead a "hard" path, accessed by falling in the hole (the way up used the generic x-shaped platform encountered through the game). Old Revision Leftovers Old Sewer or Later Gem Path Leftover These include a homing space bomb from the space levels used in early versions of the game, crate code leftovers from the first game, etc. Some of the in-game objects have different behavior not used in the final version of the game and that can only be accessed through hacking. The levels "Diggin' It" and "Bee-Having" contain obj_hive objects which go unused as they do nothing since the beehive's position is calculated through the obj_bee_hive object. Some of these unused paths are also mispositioned and can't hit Crash directly but will still damage him. Gin boss battle has data for 20 missile paths, as shown in the beta versions of this game, even though only 10 are used in the final versions. ![]() These two boxes, a TNT and a life crate, are destroyed due to a mistake in drawing the TNT crate, as some TNT crates automatically destroy other crates when too far away. Not technically "unused", but in the level "Totally Bear", there are two boxes which are never seen during normal gameplay. Ignore the clear gem platform outline and the checkpoint's position, they were added by the hacker. Although this signpost is no longer present in the final release, its object code and model data still remain in the game's files and are fully functional. As shown in the June 15th, 1997 prototype, the level "Ruination" once featured a stone signpost denoting the "easy" and "hard" paths through the level. ![]() ![]() The only exception: a live SEO ranking checker that will show you the neutral ranking of your website on Google. What you're doing is pretty much installing the RTP manually. It's a bit of a pain to do, but it works. This 'should' work as a backup plan for anyone if the installer simply doesn't work. ![]() If you are still seeing weird symbols or squares, you probably just need to install Japanese or use AppLocale. Keep in mind, I could see Japanese lettering fine. After abit of googling, apparently that is some kind of bug with the installer itself, or with InstallShield. Here, if I clicked okay, this error would appear: 不明のエラーが発生しました。 Which, apparently roughly translates into "Unknown Error", and the installer would crash. Clicking next would bring me to the "Install Directory" window. After both of those errors, the installer would finally pop up, blue screen and all. Pressing OK, it would finish initializing the installer, then give the same error. This is what would happen I'd start up RPG2000RTP.exe After it extracted all the setup files, it would give a 0x80040707 error. ![]() However, I simply could NOT get it to work. I've tried to whole shebang, running as admin, WindowsXP compatibility, the AppLocale app, etc. I couldn't get the RTP to install, but I have found, what appears to be, a good alternitive to the RTP Installer. The newest version of 2kki has a "start.exe" file, you have to open it with AppLocale Then, just browse to where your 2kki zip file is and unzip it. In Win8, just go to the start menu, type "winrar", open it's file directory, right click it and choose "japanese locale". It's also important to note that when unzipping 2kki, you must RUN WINRAR USING THE JAPANESE LOCALE. – Now, just follow the regular instructions to install the japanese RTP2000, and then you can download and run 2kki. There were no annoying pop-ups or anything like that. – I didn't use pAppLocale in this tutorial, but it worked just fine with the regular AppLocale. You -MUST- install both the japanese RTP2000 and 2kki by doing this, or else your PC will mess up the filenames and nothing will work properly. This will allow you to run any file in japanese-mode, by right-clicking the file and choosing "Japanese Locale". – I actually tried having my Windows in japanese, so I could install everything without using applocale but it DID NOT WORK! You really have to use AppLocale. If you do this, your Windows will be all in japanese. Be careful not to choose to use it as the main language. Click "options" next to it, then "install this language" or something like that. It'll appear on the list BUT IT'S STILL NOT INSTALLED. On the screen that shows up, click the "Add a language" button. Under "Clock, Language and Region" there's an option to add a language. Now go to the Control Panel (you can do this by right-clicking the place where the start menu orb used to be, on the bottom-left corner of the screen). – Installing the Japanese language support: 1. – I have no idea if the following part is necessary, but I did it anyway. Go to the compatibility tab and choose Win XP SP3. Now, right-click the AppLocale shortcut that appears, and choose properties. Right-click it, then choose "open file location" at the bottom. Might as well help with Win8 now, since I'm using it and I got it to work. Then the other guy adapted it for the wiki. ![]() >1728 I actually made the first step-by-step tutorial on installing 2kki. I'm really loosing my hopes here _< Anyway, the picture is my error, I think its the same as the other picture but it might not be Now, I'm still stuck at the same problem, the thing will run, become fullscreen mode, all black, end fullscreen mode and show me this error. I first tried getting the japanease RPG maker 2003, but whenever I tried to run it using applocale or no applocale, it always gave me an error (it just said ERROR RUNNING, nothing more) and then I went for the english RPG maker 2000 (the one that's on the yume 2kki wiki) and it did everything fine when I used the japanease locale. I am >29 and >31 Since I couldn't find a solution, I uninstalled everything and redid all I could I put my locale as japanease font, turned off user security or whatever (the thing that promps administration yes or no) I re-installed applocale got that other thing that allows you to use the japanease locale with just a simple right click. ![]() |
